Walking In The Rain
Acrylic on Canvas
24 x 48 in (61 x 122 cm)
I wanted to create an image that felt graceful, timeless, and open to interpretation. The figure seems suspended between departure and arrival, inviting each viewer to imagine their own destination.
Looking back, I see this painting as an important step in my artistic development: an early exploration of beauty, atmosphere, and the emotional presence that would later become central to my work.

Walking In The Rain was painted early in my artistic journey, before my work had settled into the themes that define my practice today. At the time, I was studying Fashion Design at the University of Wisconsin and drawn to elegance, beauty, and quiet simplicity.
